This repertoire of images depicts the practice of the Afro-Brazilian syncretism called Candomble in the Reconcavo Baiano region of the northeastern state of Bahia,Brazil. The bulk of images in this collection was shot on August 30th 2009 during an offering ceremony in a small village called Milagre San Roque.
